FAQ
-
How much does guitar maintenance cost?
The price depends on what’s done to the instrument. Basic maintenance—like neck adjustments and cleaning—costs less than major repairs or custom work. You can find our current price list on the website, but if your job doesn’t fit into a standard package, just get in touch and ask. Nothing is carried out without your approval.
-
How quickly will I get my instrument back?
Maintenance is normally completed within 1–7 business days, depending on the scope of work and current workload. Rush jobs are also possible if our schedule allows—just get in touch to arrange it.
-
Do you offer a warranty on repairs?
Yes. All work is carried out professionally and comes with a warranty within reasonable limits. If any issues arise after the service, contact us immediately—we’ll take care of it. The warranty does not cover new problems that weren’t present initially or damage caused by misuse.
-
Can I bring my instrument in without an appointment?
Sometimes you can, but it’s safest to book ahead. I’m not always on-site, and the workshop can get full. A quick call, message, or email beforehand saves us both time and makes sure your instrument is received right away.
-
Do you do modifications or custom projects?
Yes—I do mods and custom projects, provided the job makes sense, is worthwhile, and can be done in a reasonable timeframe. Whether it’s an electronics upgrade, swapping in a different pickguard, unconventional stringing choices, or even a full-body swap—we’ll talk through your idea first. Some projects need extra planning and time, so pricing and scheduling are always handled case by case.
