Part 1: Website Terms of Use

1. Terms

By accessing this website, you agree to be bound by these website Terms of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on Guittek's website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

  • Modify or copy the materials;

Part 2: Workshop & Repair Terms (B2C & B2B Services)

1. Estimates and Additional Work

  • All standard repairs and services follow our published price list or estimated quotes provided upon initial inspection.

  • We always contact the customer for approval before proceeding with any additional work or incurring extra costs that exceed the agreed-upon estimate. No unapproved work or hidden fees will be charged.

2. Shipping and Transport

  • Guittek accepts instruments shipped to the workshop by mail or courier.

  • Shipping instruments to and from the workshop is entirely at the client’s own responsibility and risk. Clients are strongly advised to use a reliable, tracked courier service, ensure adequate insurance coverage for transit, and pack instruments securely in a proper hard case. Guittek is not liable for any transit-related damage or loss.

3. Unclaimed Instruments

  • Finished instruments must be picked up or arrangements made within a reasonable timeframe once notice of completion is given. Guittek does not operate an indefinite storage facility; instruments left unclaimed for extended periods without prior agreement may be subject to statutory storage handling procedures under Finnish law.

4. Repairs and Warranty

  • All repair and maintenance work is carried out professionally with a workmanship warranty within reasonable limits (covering issues directly related to the performed service).

  • The warranty does not cover new issues unrelated to the initial service, normal wear and tear, or damage resulting from misuse, climate changes, or improper handling after the instrument has left the workshop.
