1. What the hell is this place?

This ain’t a car site. This ain’t a shop (yet).

This is a blog for the obsessed — a place for Jazzmasters, Jaguars, Mustang misfits, and all the weird bastards Fender accidentally blessed us with.

2. Who the fäck am I?

I’m a luthier, musician, gear junkie, and a man currently surrounded by more Jazzmasters than I ever planned to own. It started with a Squier Jazzmaster Mini. Then I blacked out and woke up with a MIJ, a MIM, and two J. Mascis models. No regrets. Just research.

No, I’m not a purist or an Offset encyclopedia — but I’ve been playing for 35 years, and working on guitars for 30 of those. So let’s just say… a few guitars have passed through these hands.

3. Why does this exist?

Because most reviews are boring, most blogs are dead, and most guitar content sounds like it was written by ChatGPT on Xanax.

I wanted a space to:

• Review my guitars honestly

• Talk about weird mods and set-ups

• Rant about tone myths, QC drama, and pickup conspiracies

• And eventually…
